Lighting and heat-dissipation housings combine thermal paths, mounting interfaces, enclosure geometry and finishing requirements in one project-specific structure.

Keep the housing review separate from complete-lamp validation
The aluminum housing can be reviewed for cast geometry, heat-transfer interfaces, mounting, sealing faces, machining, finish and inspection, but complete-lamp behavior also depends on the board, driver, lens, gasket, fasteners, cable entry and final assembly. State who owns each interface and test before the casting route is approved.
Provide the heat-source location, mating components, critical flat faces, fastening and sealing details, visible zones and any customer-managed performance target. HSX can then evaluate the housing scope without implying certification or performance responsibility for an unspecified finished lighting product.
