CUSTOM MOTOR HOUSING PROJECTS

Custom Aluminum Die-Cast Motor Housings

HSX manufactures aluminum housings from customer-controlled drawings, 3D models, samples and project requirements. Circular and ribbed housing references demonstrate relevant casting and post-casting experience; every new motor or rotating-equipment housing is reviewed as a separate OEM project rather than selected from a stock catalog.

Suitable Housing Structures and Applications

This direction can suit motor, actuator and rotating-equipment housings that use cast ribs, mounting feet, flanges, bearing or shaft interfaces, machined bores, threaded holes and defined assembly faces. Suitability depends on the actual envelope, wall transitions, interfaces, alloy, quantity and acceptance requirements.

What to Send for Engineering Review

Provide the controlled 2D drawing and 3D model when available, or a physical sample with application context. Identify datums, bore and shaft relationships, mating parts, sealing responsibility, critical holes, appearance zones, finish, expected quantity, packing needs and the current project stage.

Possible Manufacturing Route

A suitable route may include mold design by HSX, aluminum die casting, trimming, gate removal, deburring, drilling, tapping, polishing, powder coating or spray painting, quality inspection and packing. CNC machining, anodizing and electroplating are partner-supported and are confirmed separately when the drawing requires them.

Review Risks and Project Boundary

The review focuses on wall transitions, rib and boss junctions, bore allowance, alignment between controlled interfaces, fastening access, sealing surfaces and coating build. HSX is a fit for drawing-led small-to-medium custom projects; standard catalog motors, complete motor assemblies and unsupported performance guarantees are outside this page's supply claim.
